Top It Off

fedora: Wet Seal
scarf: from another coat
leather bomber: Kohl's (similar)
flannel: Forever 21 (similar)
shirt: Jeans by Buffalo - via JC Penney
leggings: TJ Maxx
boots: Pink Basis

Don't let the sunshine fool you. It was freezing out! So naturally, I went shopping. My best friend had some money to spend in Wet Seal, so we headed to the mall, and low and behold, we found these fedoras. For just $10, mind you! I decided on this snazzy one, which is actually my first real hat! She got a cute one with a lace band. We were both so pleased with ourselves, that we decided to wear them together through the rest of our shopping trip. Odd stares and all.

Forest on the Green

jacket: Target (similar)
top: TJ Maxx
pants: JC Penney
moccasin boots: Call It Spring
bag: (I have no idea..)
rings: H&M

I wore this on one of the abnormally warm days we had last week. Todd and I took a walk and played outside in my mom's backyard, where I took these pictures. He doesn't know what to do with all the room to run!

I picked up these pants when I exchanged a Christmas present at JC Penney and they are the most comfortable pants I own! I think they're jeggings. The color is a super pigmented forest green, which I love. The top has the same color of green in it so they're obviously perfect for each other. I broke out the white "leather" bag (with amazing chain detail!) for this to echo the white stripes in the shirt as well. So matchy-matchy and I don't care!

House Shows & Sequins

top: gift from friend
jeans: JCPenney
denim jacket: thrifted
clutch: Target
rings: H&M
boots: Kohl's

You guys have probably noticed that I live in pants. I own 2 skirts and I've even yet to wear one of them. I do wear dresses a lot but I covet jeans like nobody's business. These are one of my most recent purchases and I'm obsessed with them! They're so edgy and add a little something to simple outfits. I know they're probably not for everyone, but I can't stop wearing them! But here's my promise: I promise I am trying to venture into wearing something other than pants. The next time I go shopping, I will buy a skirt and wear it... and like it.

Fancy Faux Fur

faux fur vest: secondhand
top: Jeans by Buffalo - via JC Penney
belt: "borrowed" from mom
leggings: TJ Maxx
boots: Candies - via Kohl's (similar)
earrings: Apt 9 - via Kohl's (xmas present!)
clutch: Sephora (xmas present!)

As promised, here is the faux fur vest, dressed up. I almost didn't post these though because I completely forgot we took them on Henry's phone. The quality kinda sucks but it's all we had! My camera definitely wasn't going to fit in that clutch and we had just been to dinner, had a few drinks and then went to the casino, so no one thought to even bring it. Oh well! At least it's a fairly simple outfit.

This top is one of my exchange Christmas presents, meaning I exchanged something I actually got, for this. I almost didn't buy it because it was a whole $30 but I've been wearing it so much, I think it was well worth it. It's so comfy and easy!

The clutch, Henry got me for Christmas. It was actually a makeup brush set that came in this fantastic clutch and I adore it! Unfortunately I can't find it on the Sephora website but well done, Henry. Well done.
