Top It Off
fedora: Wet Seal
scarf: from another coat
leather bomber: Kohl's (similar)
flannel: Forever 21 (similar)
shirt: Jeans by Buffalo - via JC Penney
leggings: TJ Maxx
boots: Pink Basis
Don't let the sunshine fool you. It was freezing out! So naturally, I went shopping. My best friend had some money to spend in Wet Seal, so we headed to the mall, and low and behold, we found these fedoras. For just $10, mind you! I decided on this snazzy one, which is actually my first real hat! She got a cute one with a lace band. We were both so pleased with ourselves, that we decided to wear them together through the rest of our shopping trip. Odd stares and all.

Tell Me About It, Stud
shorts: Forever 21 (love the blue ones too!)
tights: Target
shoes: Candies via Kohls (similar - in leather)
necklace: blown glass from Italy!
lips: Mirabella : Caught Red-Handed
Valentine's Day has brought out the sex kitten, pin-up girl in me. I've always loved the pin-up style so I put my own little spin on it with these high-waisted, studded shorts, that I'm literally in love with. I stuck with typical V-day colors, and also added my little heart necklace that some lovely friends brought me when they took a trip to Italy. An amazing present from an amazing part of the world. (I've never even been out of the country!) This was one of my favorite looks to date and now I might just have to find a reason to go out on Valentine's Day. Cause honestly, I felt shamelessly hot.

hey Spike what do you like?
sweatshirt: Forever 21
jeans: gift from a friend
scarf: thrifted
boots: Pink Basis
bag: Nine West (similar -in beige)
rings: H&M
bracelets: Greece & diy
First of all, let's acknowledge that I have a top knot. It will probably never happen again, so eat it up now! My hair just wasn't cooperating. Second, this sweatshirt is bad ass, yes? I found it just in the knick of time at F21 because now they have ones almost identical in store, but without the leather bits on the shoulders. Boo! It's online though, don't worry. I adore this though and I'll definitely get a lot of wear out of it. That is if the spikes will stay on this time! (One wash, and two of them had to be reattached..)
I obviously piled on the jewelry, with two of my favorite bracelets, and paired everything with this bright green Nine West bag that my grandma bought me. The woman has taste! It's appropriate for any season but it made me feel more spring-y, even if there's snow..everywhere.
I also just want to say thanks to everyone who commented yesterday's post. The youtube channel has been a long time coming and I'm so happy its being received well. Seriously, thank you.

All Dolled Up
top: gift from a friend
skirt: The Stash
tights: Kroger
heels: Rock & Republic via Kohl's
necklace: thrifted
clutch: "stolen" from mama
lips: Hard Candy "natural" lip pencil
This is what I wore last weekend for a double date with Henry and our friends, Brie & her boo. Such a fun night. In this outfit, I felt like a little rock n' roll doll. But please focus on this amazing skirt. It my new favorite item in my closet and I can't get enough! I picked it up last week from my favorite boutique, in my hometown. I only wish they had another location near our apartment!

Thrift(ed)
denim jacket: thrifted
flannel: thrifted
dress: thrifted
belt: H&M (similar)
tights: Kroger
boots: Shoemint (giveaway win!)
Coincidentally, my favorite outfit to go thrifting in, is made up of some of my favorite thrifted pieces. Go figure. Ideally, slip on booties would've worked better for thrifting but I cannot stop wearing these boots. Thank god for Shoemint and giveaways. I wouldn't trade these boots for anything. Especially because I like to mix black and brown so much. They just tie those outfits together for me. I'm also loving this belt and have been on the hunt for the perfect brown, braided belt for ever. Be prepared to see it OFTEN. Now I'm on to the perfect chambray shirt. It's really never ending.

Danger, Danger
dress: pinkbasis.com
tights: charming charlie
AE flats: payless
clutch: sephora (actually came as a brush set)
lipstick: Wet n Wild 522A Dark Wine
I wore this to a hotel party for our roommate's brother's surprise 21st birthday. It was tons of fun and I met some lovely ladies. I need more of those nights in my life.
Not gonna lie, I feel dangerous in this outfit. Sexy and dangerous. And I love it.

Forest on the Green
jacket: Target (similar)
top: TJ Maxx
pants: JC Penney
moccasin boots: Call It Spring
bag: (I have no idea..)
sunglasses: Simply Vera via Kohl's (similar)
rings: H&M
I wore this on one of the abnormally warm days we had last week. Todd and I took a walk and played outside in my mom's backyard, where I took these pictures. He doesn't know what to do with all the room to run!
I picked up these pants when I exchanged a Christmas present at JC Penney and they are the most comfortable pants I own! I think they're jeggings. The color is a super pigmented forest green, which I love. The top has the same color of green in it so they're obviously perfect for each other. I broke out the white "leather" bag (with amazing chain detail!) for this to echo the white stripes in the shirt as well. So matchy-matchy and I don't care!

House Shows & Sequins
top: gift from friend
jeans: JCPenney
denim jacket: thrifted
clutch: Target
rings: H&M
boots: Kohl's
You guys have probably noticed that I live in pants. I own 2 skirts and I've even yet to wear one of them. I do wear dresses a lot but I covet jeans like nobody's business. These are one of my most recent purchases and I'm obsessed with them! They're so edgy and add a little something to simple outfits. I know they're probably not for everyone, but I can't stop wearing them! But here's my promise: I promise I am trying to venture into wearing something other than pants. The next time I go shopping, I will buy a skirt and wear it... and like it.

Cocaine Blows
cardigan: Target (similar)
rings: H&M
boots: Shoemint (giveaway win!)
lips: Revlon lip pencil in Pink
Yes, you read that right. I won these freakin' amazing boots! I almost died when I heard and now I can't stop wearing them! Sooo thankful to Shoemint and Kaylah, who hosted the giveaway. I've been a long time fan of both.
Anyway, we shot these with fresh snow on the ground (and can you see the flurries?) a few weeks ago and I thought we were finally going to experience a real winter. Sadly, it's all gone now, and I think it's supposed to be 60 this weekend... that's midwest weather for ya. But I distinctly remember it being gorgeous and white this day, and I'm so glad we captured it! I think it made for great pictures. These might be my favorite here on LLB!
Now should we acknowledge the star of this outfit? How hilarious is this shirt?! I've had it for a few years now and I'm actually obsessed. The girl's nose is even bleeding! Inappropriate? Yes. Would I wear it anywhere & everywhere? You betcha.

Fancy Faux Fur
faux fur vest: secondhand
top: Jeans by Buffalo - via JC Penney
belt: "borrowed" from mom
leggings: TJ Maxx
boots: Candies - via Kohl's (similar)
earrings: Apt 9 - via Kohl's (xmas present!)
clutch: Sephora (xmas present!)
As promised, here is the faux fur vest, dressed up. I almost didn't post these though because I completely forgot we took them on Henry's phone. The quality kinda sucks but it's all we had! My camera definitely wasn't going to fit in that clutch and we had just been to dinner, had a few drinks and then went to the casino, so no one thought to even bring it. Oh well! At least it's a fairly simple outfit.
This top is one of my exchange Christmas presents, meaning I exchanged something I actually got, for this. I almost didn't buy it because it was a whole $30 but I've been wearing it so much, I think it was well worth it. It's so comfy and easy!
The clutch, Henry got me for Christmas. It was actually a makeup brush set that came in this fantastic clutch and I adore it! Unfortunately I can't find it on the Sephora website but well done, Henry. Well done.

My Inner Mountain Man
faux fur: secondhand
flannel: Forever21
jeans: gift
boots: Sonoma via Kohl's
rings: H&M
bag: Nine West
I finally get to show off my faux fur! I've had this vest for maybe a month now and finally took pictures in it. I love that it has a collar. I haven't seen many that do so that's a nice unique touch. Do I not look like I belong in the mountains with all the elements? I definitely felt my inner Grizzly Adams coming out! Oh and don't mind my puffy eyes. I wasn't feeling good this day but I think these turned out great, regardless. The sunlight in these is my favorite! With the background, it's just so natural. I barely edited these at all! Since this is so dressed down, tomorrow I'm going to post an outfit where I dressed the fur up. It might be one of my favorite looks.
Hope you guys had an amazing (& safe) New Year!
