Top It Off
fedora: Wet Seal
scarf: from another coat
leather bomber: Kohl's (similar)
flannel: Forever 21 (similar)
shirt: Jeans by Buffalo - via JC Penney
leggings: TJ Maxx
boots: Pink Basis
Don't let the sunshine fool you. It was freezing out! So naturally, I went shopping. My best friend had some money to spend in Wet Seal, so we headed to the mall, and low and behold, we found these fedoras. For just $10, mind you! I decided on this snazzy one, which is actually my first real hat! She got a cute one with a lace band. We were both so pleased with ourselves, that we decided to wear them together through the rest of our shopping trip. Odd stares and all.

Tell Me About It, Stud
shorts: Forever 21 (love the blue ones too!)
tights: Target
shoes: Candies via Kohls (similar - in leather)
necklace: blown glass from Italy!
lips: Mirabella : Caught Red-Handed
Valentine's Day has brought out the sex kitten, pin-up girl in me. I've always loved the pin-up style so I put my own little spin on it with these high-waisted, studded shorts, that I'm literally in love with. I stuck with typical V-day colors, and also added my little heart necklace that some lovely friends brought me when they took a trip to Italy. An amazing present from an amazing part of the world. (I've never even been out of the country!) This was one of my favorite looks to date and now I might just have to find a reason to go out on Valentine's Day. Cause honestly, I felt shamelessly hot.

All Dolled Up
top: gift from a friend
skirt: The Stash
tights: Kroger
heels: Rock & Republic via Kohl's
necklace: thrifted
clutch: "stolen" from mama
lips: Hard Candy "natural" lip pencil
This is what I wore last weekend for a double date with Henry and our friends, Brie & her boo. Such a fun night. In this outfit, I felt like a little rock n' roll doll. But please focus on this amazing skirt. It my new favorite item in my closet and I can't get enough! I picked it up last week from my favorite boutique, in my hometown. I only wish they had another location near our apartment!

Forest on the Green
jacket: Target (similar)
top: TJ Maxx
pants: JC Penney
moccasin boots: Call It Spring
bag: (I have no idea..)
sunglasses: Simply Vera via Kohl's (similar)
rings: H&M
I wore this on one of the abnormally warm days we had last week. Todd and I took a walk and played outside in my mom's backyard, where I took these pictures. He doesn't know what to do with all the room to run!
I picked up these pants when I exchanged a Christmas present at JC Penney and they are the most comfortable pants I own! I think they're jeggings. The color is a super pigmented forest green, which I love. The top has the same color of green in it so they're obviously perfect for each other. I broke out the white "leather" bag (with amazing chain detail!) for this to echo the white stripes in the shirt as well. So matchy-matchy and I don't care!

House Shows & Sequins
top: gift from friend
jeans: JCPenney
denim jacket: thrifted
clutch: Target
rings: H&M
boots: Kohl's
You guys have probably noticed that I live in pants. I own 2 skirts and I've even yet to wear one of them. I do wear dresses a lot but I covet jeans like nobody's business. These are one of my most recent purchases and I'm obsessed with them! They're so edgy and add a little something to simple outfits. I know they're probably not for everyone, but I can't stop wearing them! But here's my promise: I promise I am trying to venture into wearing something other than pants. The next time I go shopping, I will buy a skirt and wear it... and like it.

Fancy Faux Fur
faux fur vest: secondhand
top: Jeans by Buffalo - via JC Penney
belt: "borrowed" from mom
leggings: TJ Maxx
boots: Candies - via Kohl's (similar)
earrings: Apt 9 - via Kohl's (xmas present!)
clutch: Sephora (xmas present!)
As promised, here is the faux fur vest, dressed up. I almost didn't post these though because I completely forgot we took them on Henry's phone. The quality kinda sucks but it's all we had! My camera definitely wasn't going to fit in that clutch and we had just been to dinner, had a few drinks and then went to the casino, so no one thought to even bring it. Oh well! At least it's a fairly simple outfit.
This top is one of my exchange Christmas presents, meaning I exchanged something I actually got, for this. I almost didn't buy it because it was a whole $30 but I've been wearing it so much, I think it was well worth it. It's so comfy and easy!
The clutch, Henry got me for Christmas. It was actually a makeup brush set that came in this fantastic clutch and I adore it! Unfortunately I can't find it on the Sephora website but well done, Henry. Well done.

Trip to the Vet (ft. Todd)
hat: Claire's
flannel: Forever 21
teal tank: Forever 21
jeans: gifted from a friend
gifted mocassins: Minnetonka
Mondani bag: gifted from family (ebay & similar ebay)
sunnies: Simply Vera via Kohl's
evil eye bracelet: gift from Greece
lipstick: Wet n' Wild in 905D (the best pink!)
This past Thursday, we had to take Todd to the vet. His eyelid was super pink and swollen and really itchy. Thankfully he's okay! He just had an irritated eye, for one reason or another. Now he has to have steroid cream put on his eye 3 times a day. He effin' hates it.
We snapped a few outfit pictures on the way out the door. Todd was obviously very cooperative... but I didn't mind. Poor sick little thing. Henry's started calling him "Eyeball". That won't be lasting long if I have anything to do with it.

Notice the doggy.. M.I.A.
These jeans have quickly become my go to's. They're slightly too big for me but they're so relaxed and soft, I just love them. I tried to glam it up with some lipstick though.
I obviously went for the super casual look. Do you ever want to be anything else, while sitting at the vet?

What We Wore on Thanksgiving
denim jacket: thrifted
Derek Heart dress: TJ Maxx
tshirt: thrifted
leggings: TJ Maxx
cognac boots: pinkbasis.com
bracelet: Kohl's
blown glass necklace: gift from italy
earrings: 2g carved wood
lipstick: Wet n' Wild in 905D
Can you tell we like brick walls? I swear its not intentional. This bad boy is right in front of my mom's house and it covers practically the whole first floor. It sucked growing up because no one could see our window decorations!
This is my favorite dress that I own and its not the first time I wore it on this blog. It is absolutely, amazingly comfortable so I decided, after almost 30 minutes of trying on dresses, that I'd wear it for our Thanksgivings. Yes, ThanksgivingS. We had 3, if you remember. Thank god this dress has some stretch!
A dress was a good choice since I felt bloated and awful after Thanksgiving #2 and leggings because it was a little chilly out. I put a tshirt underneath, since the dress sleeveless and it was cold out, but also because I think it makes the outfit more casual. I decided on boots for comfort and jewelery because I needed a little bit of glam! The lipstick helped too. It really is as bright as it looks and I'm in love with it. It's just the brightest, prettiest pink. In other words, incredibly perfect.
Henry wanted to get in a picture, too. As you can see, he is participating in No Shave November. His flannel is from Kohl's (a birthday present from my mom) and he's wearing Vans slip-ons. Check the wallet bulg in the back pocket and the phone in the front. He's prepared.
Oh, and please ignore the Dr Pepper can and my jacket on the wall.. oops.

Dinner Dates
Leather bomber: Kohl's (similar)
Scarf: thrifted
Forever 21 top: thrifted (Can you believe it?)
Blue Asphalt jeans: Wet Seal
Bracelet: gifted
Clutch: stolen from mama!
Boots: Steve Madden (similar)
First of all, ignore that stupid piece of hair on the back of my head. We took all these pictures and ran out the door. I didn't notice til way later! Secondly, I know I've sucked at updating this weekend! Saturday we were barely home and Sunday, as most of you know, we got our new puppy! Then yesterday, my mom was off work for Veteran's Day so she came down to go shopping with me. (woop woop!) I would've been home to write up a post, except that Black Ops 2 came out at midnight so we stood in line, haha. Busy busy days!
This outfit is from Friday. Henry got home from work and we decided to go out for dinner, which is always fun. (I don't really like to cook.) We went to Applebee's and I had the best Long Island I've ever had and the dinner was excellent. Just a good night all around!
These boots make me feel SO tall, guys. They're a pretty big wedge and actually I got them when the Steve Madden store in the mall around here was closing. They're like $100 boots and I got them for $10! Some of you probably don't know that I'm in love with Steve Madden's shoes. All of them. I like to tell people that my soul radiates Steve Maddens. ;)
Its pretty much the same story with my bomber. I die for this jacket. I was at Kohl's on a random trip (and you guys already know how much I love Kohl's) and on the sale rack there was this GORGEOUS jacket. It was the last one so I knew I HAD to have it. It was also about $50! Luckily, since I was flat broke, my dad bought it for me! (With conditions..) Later, I was reading a magazine (I don't remember which.. help?) and I saw my jacket in it, saying it was $300+ !! Can you believe that? I started taking better care of it then!
Do you guys take care of your clothes unnaturally well, if you know you got a good deal on it? Or is it just me?

Kohl's Discount!
(the reason this post is happening)
You may remember the post, Henry's An Old Man, where we celebrated Henry's birthday? Well.. I made an uh-oh. I didn't exactly link anything I was wearing but it actually ended up a blessing in disguise!
The lovely Julia, who works for Kohl's, emailed me and brought the oopsie to my attention (THANKS JULIA!). She also offered me a code to use that saves me 10% on Kohl's.com! I love saving money, don't you? The best part is that she's allowed me to share it with you guys! So here it is: TENBLOG
Just enter that in when you checkout. Also, you can use one other department level code as well, which is rarely the case with other stores. AND you have until December 23rd to use it, so you can use this for your holiday sopping!
I hope you guys are as excited about this as I am. Exclusive codes ftw!
Everyone say "Thanks Julia"!
Again, Kohl's really has no part in me posting this. I'm sharing because I want to and was given the chance.
