It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

No, not Christmas. Halloween! (Well, almost..)
Last night we drove up to my hometown for our first (and hopefully not last) Halloween party! My very good friend, Alicia and her boyfriend had a small costume party complete with punch, with eyes and worms in it, drinks out the ass and tons of decorations; strobe lights, spiderwebs.. the works. We didn't stay long but we had SUCH a good time. I love seeing everyone's costumes!

Alicia was a gangster (not like nowadays... think Al Capone) and so was one of her friends. There was Minnie Mouse, a prisoner, and a zombie. Henry went as a lumberjack (i.e. he wore a flannel and already had a beard....) and I was a kitty! And that has been my costume 3 years in a row... ANYWAY:

I honestly just kind of threw it together with things I had but I think it turned out cute. Especially with the make up I did. Not to brag, but I was pretty pleased with myself! What do you guys think? Cute?

Things I Love Thursday

A lot of the blogs I follow, make a Things I Love Thursday post every week and I always have so much fun seeing things other people have found or experienced that week, so I decided I would share some of the things I found this week!
First and foremost, this ring. It's October, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so it fits. Also, Breast Cancer Awareness is very personal to me, given my grandma had it when I was younger. (I also have a pink ribbon tattooed behind my ear.)

These two dreamed up the funniest, most awesome costume I've ever seen. Flo the Progressive girl and Mayhem from the AllState Commercials. HILARIOUS. The headband on him and he's in a pink suv! Best two commericals, hands down.
